Add supplement to your dog's diet that is beneficial for their skin. Omega-3 fatty acids, fish oil tablets, and olive oil all provide nutrients that help to improve dog's skin and coat, which can help to reduce severity of skin allergy symptoms.


Use hypoallergenic dog shampoo when bathing your pet to avoid further irritation to skin. Many commercial dog shampoos contain harsh chemicals that strip away beneficial skin oils, which can aggravate skin allergy condition.
